2nd Stage of the Renovation of Radisson Blu Hotel Latvia Renovation and Construction

The second stage of the renovation of Radisson Blu Hotel Latvia consisted of the construction of six floors with 205 new hotel suites, a one-storey glass passage for shopping, and a multifunctional conference hall for 1000 guests in the place of the former “Latvija” exhibition hall.

The conference hall has movable walls and is equipped to stage international conferences, and cultural and entertainment events including large exhibitions.

The total area of construction was 24,000 square metres. Thus, the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvia has now become the largest hotel in Latvia.

This object was honoured with the award of the Best Work in Energy Construction, Design, and Production 2006 in the New Construction Projects category by the Latvian Association of Power Engineers and Energy Constructors.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Latvia was renovated by General Partnership SBRE, uniting Skonto Būve Ltd. andRE&RE Ltd..
