The results of the reconstruction are: flooring completely replaced, wooden wall panels restored, mosaic floor on the first storey, sandstone columns, stained glass decorations and other decorative elements of the building renovated.
To provide the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the necessary area, an additional storey has been constructed in the new building, where modern offices have been created whilst retaining the existing roof structure. An annex has been constructed to the building for the purposes of different group events, including press conferences. New lifts have been installed in the building and unlike the former interior planning now it is wheelchair-friendly (special lifts have been provided).
All works were carried out in compliance with the requirements of the State Inspection for Heritage Protection and the representatives of the Inspection have already praised the contractors for the quality of the restoration works.
